COURSE DESCRIPTION
Recommended for students registered for the CLAST. Also, for those who have
failed the computational portion of the CLAST. Class meets 5 weeks
prior to the scheduled CLAST for the term. Students are tested on
the CLAST skills: arithmetic, algebra, geometry, probability, statistics,
sets, and logic. For compensatory credit only. NOTE FOR USF STUDENTS: An
HCC transcript is sent to USF for evaluation. You will receive a letter
grade from HCC.

HOMEWORK
- Take the CLAST Practice Test in the textbook. Make
note of the questions you answered incorrectly so you
can master the corresponding objectives.
- Work all problems (Warm-ups and CLAST
Practice) in your textbook.
- Read the material
to be covered in the next class.
GRADING
There will be 5 multiple choice take
home quizzes and a final exam. Your grade
will be the mean average of these 6 grades.
